Dear Readers,
Let’s cut to the chase. There are several hundred of you who are still using Google Reader to read Product Talk.
I know that life is busy. There aren’t enough hours in the day. And, of course, you’ll get to it later.
But later is coming fast.
On Monday, Google Reader is being shut down. It’s sad, but true.
RSS is dead.
Okay, no it’s not. But Google thinks so. And really that’s a rabbit hole we don’t need to go down.
Instead, let’s focus on what matters. it’s bad enough that Google Reader is going away, but don’t let Product Talk go away with it.
Take a minute right now to change the way you subscribe to this blog. Here are a few things you can do.
- Use Feedly’s import tool to switch from Google Reader to Feedly. Long live RSS!
- Subscribe via email If you don’t see the form below because you are reading this through Google Reader (duh), click through and use this quick form or the one at the top right of every single page on my blog. It will take 3 seconds. Also, email is NEVER going away. And I promise to never EVER spam you. Or sell your address to evil trolls.
[subscribe2]
- Follow me on Twitter I tweet every blog post. I do tweet other things, but hopefully if you find Product Talk useful, you’ll also find those other things useful too.
It’s a little heartbreaking to me that over the last 20 months, I’ve managed to earn your trust one at a time. Each of you finding something that inspired you to say, yes, I want to read more like this. And thus subscribed. And that now, all of that is at risk.
Rekindle that feeling. I don’t want to lose you on Monday. Take a minute and re-subscribe.
Cheers,
Teresa
