I see many product managers struggling with how to design and run good product experiments.
It’s hard to know what to test and for how long.
Few of us are trained to think like scientists.
The tools are hard to use.
We often overgeneralize our conclusions.
It’s great that experimentation is becoming more common practice, but we still need to improve our research methods if we want to make better product decisions.
Last Fall, I spoke at The Lean Product & UX meetup in Palo Alto. We covered a lot of ground.
The material is drawn straight from my work as a product coach. Learn from other teams’ mistakes.
The talk lasts about 40 minutes, followed by 20 minutes of Q&A.
Enjoy!
